Perhaps it's just me, but I think I'm just ever so slightly starting to get excited for *GASP* Christmas. I know, I know, it's totally un-cool to blurt it out with months to go, but I'd be lying if I said I hadn't started thinking about what party dresses I'll be wearing...

I'm a sucker for a bit of sparkle, and having recently really gotten back into my Converse (and other uber-comfy shoes), I'm well and truly into this pair of twinkly trainers.

Yeah...despite being all DOOM and GLOOM outside, I'm still very much delusional, and firmly in summer mode, which means bold colour (and lots of it).

I do love a maxi skirt! What's brilliant about them - especially at this time of year - is that they can be worn come rain or shine (I'm sure I'm not the only one who's pulled on a secret pair of leggings, underneath my maxi, when it's a bit nippy outside...)

The team at Warehouse have styled this brushstroke maxi skirt with a plain tee and cropped, light wash denim jacket, which looks spot-on. I'd just add my floppy hat, and a low slung bag to channel true boho chic.

After spending allll weekend camping, and dodging hail-stones (the spiteful, nasty things that they are), I can't physically tell you how much I wanted it to be shorts and t-shirt weather. Spending two long days battling the elements just aint easy, and in these sorts of desperate times, unfortunately, style takes a real backseat (wearing SEVEN layers of clothing, there was just no hope!)

Back in the city this evening though, I'm seriously lusting after some sunshine, so I can wear these dip dye denim shorts. Frankly, because they're awesome. End of.

Not typically a 'pink' person, I have to admit that it feels right to reach for powder pink this Spring. I think I've been sold the idea, because it's not too prim and girly - rather, it's cool and sporty to be sporting the shade this season.
